The Exoikonomo 2023 Programme Implementation Guide has been amended. Now the budget of the Programme, for the two application submission cycles (A’ and B’) is as follows 585.315.582<\/ctcspan><\/i><\/ctc>.5 \u20ac (from 532.105.075<\/ctcspan><\/i><\/ctc>,00\u20ac) and is financed from the resources of the Recovery and Resilience Fund. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

For the first cycle, the resources amount to 464.315.582,50\u20ac (from 422.105.075,00\u20ac) of which 75.203.785,80\u20ac (from 68.367.078,00\u20ac) is allocated to the fight against energy poverty.<\/p>\n\n

For the second cycle, the resources amount to 121.000.000<\/ctcspan><\/i><\/ctc>,00\u20ac (from 110.000.000<\/ctcspan><\/i><\/ctc>,00\u20ac), an amount which is allocated to address energy poverty.<\/p>\n\n

The above increases were needed to cover the corresponding increases in the expenditure thresholds for eligible interventions. The table below shows the new values. <\/p>\n\n

In addition, an amount of up to \u20ac3,025<\/strong> per application is foreseen for the installation of smart home systems that contribute to energy saving (sub-category 5.A).The above limits of eligible costs include VAT (24%)<\/strong>, which is an eligible cost <\/strong>for the Programme. If suppliers are subject to a reduced VAT scheme or exempt from the obligation to declare and pay tax, then the eligible expenditure ceilings set out in this Chapter will be reduced by the appropriate percentage (%) of VAT. The basis for the reduction shall be the initial expenditure before 24 % VAT. <\/p>\n\n

The maximum eligible intervention budget including VAT per beneficiary application may not exceed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

  1. the product of 1.2 \u20ac<\/strong> multiplied by the total estimated annual primary energy savings (kWh) as calculated from the A’ Energy Performance Certificate,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. the product of 240<\/strong> \u20ac<\/strong> multiplied by the area of the main premises as shown on the E9 form,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. the 24.750<\/strong> \u20ac<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
